The way I see it, fiscal conservatives want to stop the house (Our Country)from burning down, yet the people they are negotiating with are holding the gas can (Harry Reid)and the matches (Obama). I would like to be the first to thank you for your "NO" vote on the upcoming Senate Health Care Bill later this week. I'm so glad to hear that you will not vote for a bill that costs Americans anymore money.

One Democratic senator fighting for health care reform said Sunday she "absolutely" would vote against the health care bill being debated in the Senate if it increases out-of-pocket costs for people and drives up the debt.

But Sen. Claire McCaskill of Missouri said she doesn't think that is going to happen because President Obama would also reject such a bill.

"My statement all along is it has to slow down the increase of health care costs over time, and that is bending the cost curve, and secondly, that it has to be deficit neutral," McCaskill said on "Fox News Sunday.

"We have to be saving more money for our government than we're spending. And if we're not saving more money for our government than we're spending, then not only will I not support it, the president said he won't support it," she added.

So with that said, especially the part about "slow down the increase of health care costs over time" How about 14 years? Is that long enough? I hear that with this current bill, Americans will receive 2% of the benefits in the first 4 years (while paying for it) and 98% of the benefits in the last six years of the CBO's ten year projections.

But what I'm not hearing from the politicians is that Harry Reid is forcing the CBO to work within a "rigged" time frame. I hear that from the years 2014-2023 (actual 10 year stretch of full benefits) the cost skyrockets to $2.5 TRILLION in cost.

I'd say that will sure "bend the cost curve" the wrong way, wouldn't you agree Claire McCaskill? Of coarse you would, those are your words, Claire McCaskill. And we know how you always keep your word. Of coarse who would have to pay for such a program if it did by chance pass? Not Nebraska, apparently. I'd say the rest of America will foot the bill.

But of coarse this bill is not going to pass, because YOU have given your word that you will vote "NO" on any legislation that spends more government money (a.k.a American Tax Payer Money) than we're saving. And to that I want to Thank You for standing up for Americans all across this great land of ours. I'm now going to have a Very Merry Christmas after all. And I want to wish you and your family a Very Merry Christmas as well. Thanks Claire McCaskill ! You're the Best!

Are you going to lay down and do what ever the federal government wants or are you going to STAND UP for the overwhelming population of Missourians who disagree with the current administrations policies and reject them? I'm not a Constitutional scholar, but I believe the Feds are infringing on our 10th Amendment rights. I would honestly like to know where you stand. By the way, have any of you entertained the idea of investigating the election of Claire McCaskill? Now that ACORN has been exposed (voter fraud in St. Louis) and the corrupt connection with Robin Carnahan (Sec of State) has been exploited, there would seem to be some reasonable doubt about the 50% win in the 2006 election of Ms. McCaskill. I would like to hear your thoughts on the subjects.

Wish Missouri's 3 Democrat representatives would have watched this video before voting. By the way, in case you haven't heard, the House passed their version of Taking over Our Lives a.k.a. Health Care Bill last night around 11:30 P.M. Eastern. A vote of 220 to 215. Just think, if our 3 guys would have voted NO, the vote would not have gotten the needed 218 votes.
I don't know about you, but I plan on making donations to the opponents of these men. These guys need to Go! They are Russ Carnahan 3rd District, zip code 63670 will get you to his listing to email him, Emanuel Cleaver 5th District, zip 64999, and Wm. Lacy Clay 1st District, zip 63199. Of coarse these men are from the Kansas City and St. Louis area, but most of the letters written to these men were opposing the Health Care Bill. I guess they chose to ignore the poeple. I don't know, pretty frustrating, I'm not sure what it is going to take to get these Arrogant politicians to listen. Anyway, you should go to Congress.org and type in their zip codes and personally thank them for contributing to the demise of America! Can you believe these guys, Man I'm ticked off.

A little good news though, (if you can call it good) is that it needs to pass the Senate now, so remember to ride McCaskill like a rented mule, until she agrees to vote NO.

Health Care:
Why are these bills authored behind closed doors?

Where is the "Promised" transparency?

Where is the participation from the American people?

Why call it an Opt Out option if you still have to pay for it? Wouldn't that be "We just want your Money" option?

Why are these bills split into multiple pieces of legislation in order to get costs down? You know, most of us voters can add expenses together.
A trillion is still a trillion, even if you split it into 2 halves.

Why is the public option now going to be called the "Consumer Option" as Ms. Pelosi states? By the way, a pile of crap is still a pile of crap, even if you call it a pile of roses, it still stinks!

Why hasn't the "Buy insurance across state lines" and "Tort Reform" been leaked out? Are these options even in there?

Why not allow Health insurance to be purchased like car insurance and take the link away from your employment?

Why is health care going to be mandated? Is that constitutional?

Why not mandate (since you like to mandate) that all medical expenses to be posted at the clinics, so you know what your costs will be?

Why not fix Medicare first?
and while your at it, Social Security, economy, unemployment, deficit, etc.
By the way, why has unemployment and the debt gone up since passing the stimulus bill? Why has deficit quadrupled in 10 months?

Why will these laws not take affect for several years, if they are such an EMERGENCY?

Why now, does every American citizen owe over $300,000 dollars in taxes for their life? Do your grandchildren know about this wonderful present you have prepared for them?

Cap and Trade:
Why would you tax CO2 output, when that is the key ingredient for plant life to grow? Are you trying to kill all plant life as well? You do know, that plants give off oxygen, don't you? And that is what most of us mortals breath. I believe I learned that in 8th grade science, but I could be wrong, since it was a government school. Or has that information been removed from our text books and replaced with wonderful quotes from Al Gore?

Why are we giving Brazil millions of taxpayer money to drill for oil off their shore, but we will not allow it in the U.S.?

Why are we not building Nuclear Plants in the U.S.? Could it be because we have no border security and we don't want to add anymore targets for the multitude of terrorists that wonder into our Nation?

Defense a.k.a. Hate Crime:
Why was a Hate Crime amendment added to a "Must Pass" Defense budget bill? That seems pretty corrupt to me. I believe Bush threatened to veto a bill like that.
Why does the hate crime only specify crimes against sexual orientation, is that showing favoritism, why not just come out and call it what it is, "Pick on a Gay and You Will Pay" law. I would argue that if you would demand that Christian (yah I said it, Christian) values and morality be put back into learning, as it was in the founding of our country, than this Hate Crime law and about 90% of the other laws and regulations, would not be necessary AND I would be more convicted about that Gay/Pay remark. By the way, aren't our current laws sufficient to punish crimes (don't all crimes derive from some sort of hate) why specialize it? Or, is this the first piece of the "Take away our 1st Amendment Rights act of 2009"?

Why can 535 people (100 Senators and 435 Congressmen), and you are simply people just like the rest of us, make such intrusive decisions on behalf of the rest of us 305 million?
And don't say, "Because you elected us, you morons!"

Why would 305 million people (or at least 231 million who can vote) allow this to happen, Oh yah, WE WON'T!

If you cannot honestly answer all of these questions (and I would like answers, sarcasm optional), with legitimate and specific information (not generic responses), than you should NOT vote "Yea" on any further legislation that comes to the floor regarding these issues.

Glenn pretty much sums it up. If you choose to not engage after listening to this, than we deserve what we get as a third world country. I challenge anyone to check Glenn's facts. If he is lying than prove it, other wise you have to admit to yourself, that this current administration and the majority in Congress want nothing but CONTROL of YOUR LIFE! Period! and they will stop at nothing to get it.

Do any of you realize that there is just 435 members of the House of Representatives and 100 Senators who decide what the laws of the land will be. The population of the US is somewhere near 300,000,000. That calculates to WAY less than 1% of the population forcing their will on us. I don't know about you, but I think it's time to stand up against this minority and demand less government intrusion into our lives.

The beautiful thing about our constitution is that the founding fathers did not want a system to allow this type of ruling power to prosper (for very long), so every 2 years, we can vote for all 435 positions in the house and I believe 1/3 of the Senate. That means next November, we can vote ALL (Democrat and Republican)congress members out of office and replace them with Constitutionally sound individuals. Why is this critical? To give balance of the power, remember, all bills must originate in the House of representatives. If this current congress passes all these intrusive EXPENSIVE right killing bills (Healthcare, cap and trade, card check, etc.) into law, a new congress can Repeal these bills after next election. With that said, it does not mean we should stop calling our reps and Senators and encourage them to do their jobs, which is to defend the constitution, and stop passing these bills that ultimately infringe or eliminate our 1st and 2nd amendment rights. Just research these bills for yourself, they are all underhanded and sneaky about chipping away at your freedom of speech and right to bare arms to defend yourself, among others, those are the biggies. And they are bankrupting our country, does that mean anything to you?

I could keep going on this tangent all night, but I need to stop, I will already have trouble getting to sleep. I encourage you to look into this for yourself and comment if you see where I am wrong or if you care to get on a soap box as well.

WOW! Watch this video, if this does not open your eyes to who and what is in control of our country right now then you either agree with these radicals or you choose to be a future victim. I know, that sounds extreme, but why is no one from the White House calling Glenn Beck out. If he is making this crap up, the Administration and the media would be all over this. So why are they so quiet, could it be that when the truth comes out (ACORN) and you are in the wrong, you act like a small child and clam up in hopes that your accuser will go away. Or are they so arrogant that they believe the American people are too stupid to understand any of this.

Again I say, WAKE UP! You cannot sit on your hands and live in denial that your country will stay the same as it always has. Cash for Clunkers Deal email

Here’s some “Democratic Math”:

If you traded in a clunker worth $3500, you get $4500 off for an apparent "savings" of $1000.

However, you have to pay taxes on the $4500 come April 15th (something that no auto dealer will tell you). If you are in the 30% tax bracket, you will pay $1350 on that $4500.

So, rather than save $1000, you actually pay an extra $350 to the feds. In addition, you traded in a car that was most likely paid for. Now you have 4 or 5 years of payments on a car that you did not need, that was costing you less to run than the payments that you will now be making.

But wait, it gets even better: you also got ripped off by the dealer.

For example, every dealer here in LA was selling the Ford Focus with all the goodies including A/C, auto transmission, power windows, etc for $12,500 the month before the "cash for clunkers" program started.

When "cash for clunkers" came along, they stopped discounting them and instead sold them at the list price of $15,500. So, you paid $3000 more than you would have the month before. (Honda, Toyota, and Kia played the same list price game that Ford and Chevy did).

So lets do the final tally here:

You traded in a car worth: $3500

You got a discount of: $4500
---------
Net so far +$1000

But you have to pay: $1350 in taxes on the $4500
--------

Net so far: -$350

And you paid: $3000 more than the car was selling for the month before

----------

Net -$3350

We could also add in the additional taxes (sales tax, state tax, etc.) on the extra $3000 that you paid for the car, along with the 5 years of interest on the car loan but lets just stop here.

So who actually made out on the deal? The feds collected taxes on the car along with taxes on the $4500 they "gave" you. The car dealers made an extra $3000 or more on every car they sold along with the kickbacks from the manufacturers and the loan companies. The manufacturers got to dump lots of cars they could not give away the month before. And the poor stupid consumer got saddled with even more debt that they cannot afford.

Obama and his band of merry men convinced Joe consumer that he was getting $4500 in "free" money from the "government" when in fact Joe was giving away his $3500 car and paying an additional $3350 for the privilege.

If you live in Missouri and you believe what's in this clip, than is there any wonder how Claire McCaskill (among others)won her Senate seat with just over 50%. Investigate this for yourself. I plan on looking into it further, but I thought I'd throw it out there since it seems like all these politicians are sticking together for some reason. Now we may know why. If any of this is true, Missouri is as corrupt as Chicago (now Washington D.C.) and our politicians close to a fraudulent ACORN should probably not even be in office making these COUNTRY DESTROYING DECISIONS. Once upon a time the government had a vast scrap yard in the middle of a desert. Congress said, "Someone may steal from it at night." So they created a night watchman position and hired a person for the job.

Then Congress said, "How does the watchman do his job without instruction?" So they created a planning department and hired two people, one person to write the instructions, and one person to do time studies.

Then Congress said, "How will we know the night watchman is doing the tasks correctly?" So they created a Quality Control department and hired two people. One to do the studies and one to write the reports.

Then Congress said, "How are these people going to get paid?" So they created the following positions, a time keeper, and a payroll officer, then hired two people.

Then Congress said, "Who will be accountable for all of these people?"

So they created an administrative section and hired three people, an Administrative Officer, Assistant Administrative Officer, and a Legal Secretary.

Then Congress said, "We have had this command in operation for one Year and we are $18,000 over budget, we must cutback overall cost."

An Updated List of What's Really in the ObamaCare Bill

Note: As with all bills undergoing debate, there are different 'markups' in which sections are moved, specifics changed, and pages added or deleted. This bill is not yet final and is subject to change.

• Page 22: Mandates audits of all employers that self-insure.

• Page 30: A federal government health care advisory committee will decide what treatments and benefits you get (and, unlike an insurer, there will be no appeals process)

• Page 59: The federal government will have direct, real-time access to all individual bank accounts for electronic funds transfer – they say in order to allow automated reconciliation with the related health care payment and remittance.

• Page 65: Taxpayers will subsidize all union retiree and community organizer health plans (read: SEIU, UAW and ACORN)

• Page 72: All private healthcare plans must conform to government rules to participate in a Healthcare Exchange.

• Page 124: No company can sue the government for price-fixing. No "judicial review" is permitted against the government monopoly. Put simply, private insurers will be crushed.

• Page 127: The AMA sold doctors out: the government will set wages for participating plans .

• Page 149: Any employer with a payroll of $400K or more, who does not offer the public option, pays an 8 percent tax on payroll

• Page 167: Any individual who doesn’t have acceptable healthcare (according to the government) will be taxed 2.5% of income.

• Page 170: Any NON-RESIDENT alien is exempt from individual taxes (Americans will pay for them).

• Page 195: Officers and employees of Government Healthcare Bureaucracy will have access to ALL American financial and personal records.

• Page 203: "The tax imposed under this section shall not be treated as tax." Yes, it really says that.

• Page 239: Bill will reduce physician services for Medicaid. Seniors and the poor most affected.

• Page 253: Government sets value of doctors' time, their professional judgment, etc.

• Page 272: a review of cancer hospital payments will be undertaken and costs adjusted accordingly.

• Page 280: Hospitals will be penalized for what the government deems preventable re-admissions.

• Page 298: Doctors: if you treat a patient during an initial admission that results in a readmission, you will be penalized by the government.

• Page 318: Prohibition on hospital expansion. Hospitals cannot expand without government approval.

• Page 335: Government mandates establishment of outcome-based measures: i.e., rationing.

• Page 341: Government has authority to disqualify Medicare Advantage Plans, HMOs, etc.

• Page 425: care provider must consult with government body regarding advanced care. More bureaucracy: Advance Care Planning Consult: Senior Citizens, assisted suicide, euthanasia?

• Page 425: Government will instruct and consult regarding living wills, durable powers of attorney, etc. Mandatory.

• Page 425: Government provides approved list of end-of-life resources, guiding you in death.

• Page 429: Advance Care Planning Consult will be used to dictate treatment as patient's health deteriorates. This can include an ORDER for end-of-life plans. This is an ORDER from the GOVERNMENT.

• Page 469: Community-based Home Medical Services:

• Page 472: Payments to Community-based organizations: more payoffs for ACORN?

As of August 13, the so-called "death panels" reportedly have been removed, so this will affect what was on page 425 above.

Senator McCaskill,

As you claim on your web site to be against government waste and you vow to do something about it, then why haven’t you said anything in public or on the main networks about this ACORN corruption. YOU voted YES to fund this group some $8.5 BILLION in stimulus money and now we find out they are giving tax advice to prostitutes and pimps on how to cheat on taxes and run under age sex rings. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Again I ask, why haven’t you come out publicly condemning this organization and all of your buddies in Washington who have strong ties to this group? Could it be because you don’t watch FOX news, which apparently is the only news organization with any real journalists left? Could it be because you have ties to this organization and you don’t want to expose yourself? Could it be that our President has extremely close ties to this organization and you’re afraid to rock the boat? I don’t know, I’m asking you, your silence on the matter is deafening. As an American you should be outraged and disgusted at these reports. As a U.S. Senator you should be LOUDLY voicing your opposition to these reports. I hope you have not gotten in too far with the Obama administration that you are afraid of or part of this corruption. Any Senator that is not pounding the airwaves about this gross misuse of tax payer money should not even be called an American. With all the corrupt politicians, government officials, businesses, community organizations, main stream media, lending institutions, and just plain corrupt people, I get frustrated sometimes and wonder why they seem to continue to get the upper hand. I go crazy with trying to stay informed, prepared and active, what else can be done? It is frustrating and depressing at times, to watch all of this happen. And at this point without hesitation, my wife breaks out the bible and we read Psalms 37. I instantly find comfort and say a prayer of thanks, not only for my wife, but also for God’s reassuring word. It almost seems like God has been there, done that with these types of people and Psalms 37 helps me to realize that God is ultimately in control and our real jobs should be to spread his word of hope and salvation, so when his wrath does come, we have done our part to help lead as many people as we can to a belief in his Son Jesus Christ and an eternity of peace. Wow! I’m glad I know and believe in Christ as my Lord and Savior. It’s great knowing a sinner like me, has a place to turn when everything seems hopeless.

According to Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, the GOP has nothing to offer but NO.

Than why haven’t they looked at any of the 35 proposals from the GOP?

Could it be that this Health Care Crisis isn’t really a crisis (anything passed would not go into effect for 3-4 years) or Health Care reform isn’t really what they are after. Not sure, but there seems to be alot of good logical ideas in the above link that would suggest someone wants health care reform and not just a Government take-over of our lives (Public option).

I personally like H.R. 2520 Patients’ Choice Act by Paul Ryan of Wisconsin. I encourage you to read some of these proposals.

I pledge, to eat a big bowl of crap, oh wait, I just did. Gag! This is fascinating, though, Obama didn’t even have to use the military to force their allegiance to him (AHHHITLERchu!) Excuse me, I just sneezed. This guy must really be the Messiah. How else can we explain their sudden change in attitude toward an American President. By the way, since when do people in America pledge their allegiance to a President?
